The Kiwanis Club of Swainsboro held its weekly meeting Tuesday, June 12th, at Catered Creation at

7 pm, with President Jim Clapham presiding.

Twenty members welcomed one guest, Deborah Bussell, who was present to speak about her business Repair IT. Bussell stated that 90 percent of computer owners admit to frustration at one point or another. She also stated that frequency of computer attacks increases daily. She spoke about malware, which is a major problem many computer owners face, and she suggested that computer owners perform updates regularly to keep the machines safe. In addition, she said that every computer should have an up-to-date virus program and that the machine should be backed up daily via external hard drive or USB to protect information in the event the computer should crash.
